Delete Your RSRCH Account

RSRCH is operated by In Aim Technologies Corporation.

You can delete your account through the app or request deletion by email without reinstalling the app.

Delete through the app

Open RSRCH and go to Profile.

Select Delete Account.

Follow the confirmation prompts. If you registered with an email and password, enter your password when requested.

Request deletion by email

Email support@rsrchapp.com with the subject Delete my RSRCH account.

Send your request from the email address associated with your account, or identify that address in your message. If you used Apple’s Hide My Email, include the account email displayed in RSRCH.

We may request information to verify account ownership. Do not send your password.

We acknowledge emailed deletion requests within two business days. We aim to complete verified requests within seven days and ordinarily complete them within 30 days of receipt, or sooner where required by applicable law. We may need to verify account ownership before proceeding. If a legally permitted extension or retention exception applies, we will explain the reason and expected timeframe.

What deletion removes

Account deletion removes your account and associated records from RSRCH’s active database, including your profile, interests, saved opportunities, private messages, and linked collaboration records. Deleting an account that owns collaboration projects may also remove those projects.

Deletion is permanent. Export any information you want to keep before proceeding.

Information outside your account

Previously exported reports, copies saved by recipients, and events added to external calendars are not automatically removed.

Data retention after account deletion

After your account is deleted, we remove your account and associated personal information from our active database. Limited information may remain temporarily as follows:

Backup copies: Residual copies may remain in restricted-access backups for up to 30 days after deletion from the active database. Backups are maintained for disaster recovery and are not used for routine access or personalization. If a backup is restored, we reapply completed deletion requests before returning the restored data to normal use.

Security and diagnostic logs: Routine logs are retained for no longer than 90 days from creation to troubleshoot errors, protect the service, and detect misuse. Logs may include technical identifiers such as IP addresses and account identifiers.

Deletion-request records: We retain a minimal record of your request and its completion for up to 12 months after completion to document that we honored it. This record is limited to the identifier needed to track the request, relevant dates, and the outcome; it does not include your profile content or messages.

Safety reports and moderation records: To investigate abuse, review appeals, and document enforcement of our Community Rules, we may retain safety reports and their supporting evidence, including reported messages or profile content, after account deletion. Reports and evidence are retained until 90 days after resolution or 180 days after submission, whichever occurs first. Unresolved reports are retained for up to 180 days after submission. Moderation audit records are retained for up to 365 days from creation. Deletion occurs during the next successful scheduled cleanup. Access to these records is restricted to authorized personnel.

Legal exceptions: Specific records may be retained longer when required by law or necessary for an active legal claim or security investigation. Access is restricted, and those records are deleted when the applicable requirement or need ends.

Apple, Google, and other providers may retain records they independently control, such as purchase records, under their own privacy policies and legal obligations. Copies previously exported or saved by other users and events added to external calendars are not automatically removed by deleting your RSRCH account.

Copies previously exported or saved by other users, and events saved to external calendars, may remain outside RSRCH. App stores and other providers may retain their own records under their policies.

Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your RSRCH account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel your subscription through the store where you purchased it to prevent future renewal charges.
